Our Bus Drivers provide safe, prompt & courteous transportation for adults with developmental disabilities, medical transport, charters, and college shuttles. This job is such a critical part to our business and we put a lot of trust into each one of our drivers.
A Bus Monitor assists the Bus Driver in transporting individuals with developmental disabilities to a designated destination in a safe manner. They provide assistance to clients while boarding and disembarking the vehicle using proper safety techniques.
As a Bus Driver Trainee, you will work as a Bus Monitor while training for the Commercial Driver License (CDL) written test and road test. We invest in you by giving you the proper training to successfully achieve your CDL. You will need to attend and participate in all training which includes all of the safety procedures to onboard, transport, and off-board a variety of adult passengers.
Our 19A-Certified Examiners’ responsibilities include mandatory testing and evaluation of drivers as required by the biennial written/oral examination, as well as the biennial behind-the-wheel road test, the annual defensive driving performance procedures and Driver Abstract review. In addition to these required duties, our 19A-Certified Examiners also conduct scheduled and random evaluations, training and consultations while also completing the necessary Cedar Bus organizational and driver-specific paperwork, including the annual Affidavit of Compliance.
As a Mechanic, you will diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul buses and repair any type of gasoline and CNG engine. By mechanics providing full fleet maintenance and related services in a manner, this creates conditions under which clients reach their destinations in a safe and prompt manner. The safety of our passengers is essential to the people we serve.
The Routing and Logistic Team assists with large projects, also daily activates directly effecting the operations team. Their main goal is to constantly strive to find efficiencies in our daily activities. This position supports the Routing and Logistics Manger in various ways.
